CADRE takes traffic reports from roadside sensors and vehicles on the road to produce accurate real time and historical traffic information using leading-edge modelling techniques. This data is then available to traffic planners, logistics organisations. It can also be used in conjunction with our routing technology for web based and on board vehicle routing.

Key aspects of CADRE are accurate modelling of traffic on all roads, giving both long term traffic forecasts and detecting short term variations (such as from an accident or roadworks). This data is valuable in its own right, but it can also be used with our routing algorithms to provide enhanced vehicle routing, including dynamic rerouting round congested areas.
